Games We Play
Like every club we have some favourite games that we play fairly regularly and we've listed a small selection of these below. In addition to these there are many other games people play, either at club meetings or in small groups outside the club.
In general we are happy to try out other games so don't let not seeing your favourite on this list put you off.
| Game | Notes |
|---|---|
| Warhammer 40K | We play both 1st edition ("Rogue Trader") and the current edition. |

| Warhammer Historical | Based on Warhammer but set in the real world. |
| Epic | We play both Epic Armageddon and previous versions of the rules. |
| Star Fleet Battles | A game starship combat, this time based on the original series of Star Trek. Too rules heavy for some, brilliantly detailed for others. |
| Full Thrust | Excellent game of starship combat.Simple fast paced rules make it quicker to learn and better suited to large fleets that Star Fleet Battles. |
| Star Grunt | Ground based comabt set in the same universe as Full Thrust. |
| Classic Battletech | The original Battletech board game that many computer games have been based on. Great fun. |
| DBA, DBM and DBMM | DBA (De Bellis Antiquitatis), DBM (De Bellis Multitudinis) and DBMM (De Bellis Magistrorum Militum) are three closely related systems for ancient and medieval wargamming. |
| Fire & Fury | Rules for the US Civil War |
| AK47 Republic | An amusing wargame of dictators, rebels, religious fanatics and interfering superpowers fighting over an african "banana republic". Don't take it too seriously and its great fun. |
